Alma hefur hæfni til að framkvæma sálfræðilegt mat og íhlutun fyrir börn, unglinga, fullorðna og aldraða sem þurfa á sálfræðilegum stuðningi að halda og veitir einnig fjölskyldu- og parameðferð og íhlutun á sviði fjölmenningar, m.a. fyrir innflytjendur. Alma er sérfræðingur með yfir 25 ára reynslu á sviði sálfræði og menntunar. Hún hefur reynslu af því að starfa á heilsugæslustöðvum, sjúkrahúsum og skólum í Mexíkó, Spáni og Íslandi.

Alma er með meistaragráðu í hugrænni sálfræðimeðferð (HAM) og diplómu í atferlisgreiningu (ABA) og kennsluaðferðum. Alma hefur sinnt endurmenntun og tekið þátt í fjölmörgum vinnustofum og ráðstefnum um nýstárlegar sálfræðilegar meðferðir, svo sem Contextual Behavioral; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioural Activation Therapy og Díalektísk atferismeðferð (DAM) eða dialectical behaviour therapy Alma veitir meðferð á ensku og spænsku.


Alma is qualified to conduct psychological evaluations and interventions for children, adolescents, adults and seniors who need psychological support, helping them develop coping strategies for life crises also provides family and couples therapy and intervention in multiculturalism. A professional with over 25 years of experience in psychology and education. Has experience in clinics, hospitals and schools in Mexico, Spain, and Iceland.

Alma holds a Master's in Cognitive Psychotherapy (CBT) and a Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Teaching Methods diploma. Alma has participated in numerous workshops and conferences on the most innovative psychological therapies, such as Contextual Behavioral therapies; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She provides treatment in English and Spanish.
